Tropical Boy is a single-screen action-platformer created by Takeshi Nakazawa and published by Enix in October 1983 for the NEC PC-8801 as a Selected Program Prize winner of the 2nd Enix Game Hobby Program Contest. Players control a boy navigating multi-tiered platforms and trampolines to gather oversized bouncing fruit and toss them into baskets while fending off hatching chicks, spiders, and an unkillable mushroom hazard.
