Mushi Kegare

Mushi Kegare is an unfinished episodic Japanese horror-fantasy visual novel that combines Japanese supernatural folklore, surreal horror imagery, and a dark fairy-tale narrative. Originally planned as a serialized story, development was eventually suspended indefinitely before the project was completed. Fifteen years before the events of the story, a dying man makes a pact with a supernatural entity, exchanging the fate of his child for his own survival. As proof of the contract, he receives a mysterious eyeball capable of seeing everything. The contract must be broken and the eyeball returned before the child reaches the age of fifteen, or the child will face a gruesome death. After the father's death, the protagonist finds himself surrounded by strange supernatural beings and must discover the location of the missing eyeball to escape his fate.
